Because about 75 percent of Missouri's population lives in cities and towns. Communities and their citizens have a tremendous influence over wildlife habitat and natural resources.

To help Missouri's communities conserve wildlife habitat and enjoy the benefits of "green infrastructure," MDC provides information, consultation, technical support, funding opportunities and recognition programs.
